Actor · Stage & Screen
A performer drawn to the honest and the unguarded — from the quiet of a train window to the heat of a live stage.
01 — About
I chase the small, true moments — the ones an audience feels before they can name them.
Pavan Kannan is an actor working across theatre and film, with a home in Telugu stage and screen. His range moves easily between the raw intensity of a dramatic close-up and the timing a live stage demands, grounded always in a search for what feels real.
Trained through the stage and shaped by ensemble work, he brings a watchful, lived-in presence to every role — whether a brooding lead, a comic beat, or the still figure at the edge of the frame. Off the stage, he works as a radio jockey, an ear for voice and rhythm that feeds back into the work.
Beyond the stage and screen, Pavan works as a radio jockey. One of his programmes, below:
Live, ensemble-driven theatre — where a scene is built breath by breath in the same room as its audience.
Film and short-form work with an instinct for the intimate close-up and the restraint the camera rewards.
From the wry to the wounded — a shape-shifter's appetite for roles that live a little outside the obvious.
An RJ's ear for rhythm and warmth — at home on the mic, from live radio to voiceover and narration.
